Balance is something we all strive for, isn't it? From trying to balance our schedules and obligations, to making sure we have time for ourselves, balance can seem unattainable, but is so deeply important. Remind yourself to take some much-needed time for you with our Balance Fine Art Print by our Inspired Natives® Artist Michelle Lowden (Acoma Pueblo). 

Michelle's Balance design is influenced by traditional Acoma Pueblo pottery, which shares patterns and designs from nature. Michelle’s design is a meditation on intentionality, and the mandala-like symmetry embodies the balance we all strive for. With this piece, Michelle hopes to embody the aspiration we have to be more intentional with choices on our lives.  

"The outer rim of the Balance design is a feather motif symbolizing prayer," shares Michelle. "The center design is the land between four mountains with lightning bolts calling the rain. We have always prayed and given gratitude to these powerful elements because they provide sustenance and a home for the people, animals, and plant relatives. Prayer centers us and brings balance."

Our Native-designed fine art prints are created in our studio on archival paper. This is one more example of our Native business taking back production so we can further invest in our artists and community!

Known as giclée prints (pronounced "zhe-clay"), our fine art prints are distinguished from mass-produced prints due to their quality, longevity, and value. We print using a state-of-the-art, large-format fine art printer in our Seattle-based art studio. Because they're printed on acid-free paper, our prints won't degrade over time, and when displayed out of direct sunlight will maintain their color saturation and fine detail for decades.
